In the Bon-Ton Executive Training Program, we offer outstanding candidates broad exposure to the
retail industry, as well as the opportunity to share their own unique perspectives.
Our Executive Training Program includes:

In-depth, 12-week curriculum: During the three month training program, candidates
participate in one-on-one, classroom, computer-based and on-the-job training. In-store
assignments combined with experiences at a distribution center, photo studio, and corporate
headquarters develop a holistic business perspective that teaches candidates how to make
efficient business decisions and create innovative new strategies.

Smaller training classes mean more personal attention, and allow the training to
be tailored to the way you like to learn. This is a perfect example of where bigger isn't always better. Plus, you
have to wonder about those companies who annually hire lots of trainees. Companies who need lots of trainees have
all those open positions because they probably experience lots of turnover.

High-level visibility: The program ends with an opportunity for you to analyze a current
business opportunity and present your findings to a group of senior executives. We value your
ideas and have invested millions into turning our trainees' ideas into reality.
At the conclusion of the program, candidates are placed in a department as an Assistant Buyer, Assistant
Inventory Planner, or Assistant Product Manager. The specific position depends on you and where you
want your career to go. Again, you won't find a rigid career path here. We'll be flexible to your
career goals and skills.
